Launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Express
The Korean tech giant recently announced about one of their newest handsets ahead of the much-awaited phone festival the Mobile World Congress 2013. This new device will land in the UK first half of this year.
This new device by Samsung is a “value driven” 4G LTE device according to the company. The company is aiming for the young social explorers of today. Although, presumably, this is targeted for those who are going to literally explore areas with strong 4G signal.
The new Samsung Galaxy Express will land with a 4.5” WVGA Super AMOLED display screen. The device also comes in with 8GB worth of internal memory and it can be expanded via its MicroSD card slot.
The Galaxy Express will also land with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a dual-core processor which is said to clock in at a speed rate of 1.2GHz. Of course there is the phone’s 1GB worth of RAM and the device is said to be slim at 9.3mm only.
As far as the phone’s cameras are concerned, this device will give you 5MP rear-facing camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera.
The Galaxy Express comes with all of the Korean tech giant’s own brand bells and whistles. You will get the AllShare Play and is good for sharing photos and songs between Samsung devices, smart TVs and even tablets. The phone also comes in with the S Beam for fast transfers. This device will also land with built-in NFC for the easy contactless payments and more.
Samsung said that the Galaxy Express will be landing in the UK during the first half of this year. There is no word on the phone’s pricing yet, but given that Samsun is pushing it as a value-friendly device for the youth, you can now expect this handset to be low to mid range pricing. But yes, this being a 4G device, you can also expect that it will cost more than your average monthly fees.
This may not be the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini or the Samsung Galaxy S3 per se, but this phone is definitely good enough for the explorer in you.
