New rumour suggesting March 15 launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S4
Recently, there is a new rumour floating all over the net and it is about a March 15 launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S4. This also came in with retail availability in Europe first a few weeks after its launch date.
It was SamMobile who reported last week that the Korean tech giant is planning to announce the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S4 at a certain event (tentatively scheduled) on March 15.
While the Korean tech giant has yet to confirm this event on such a date, the unnamed source has spilled the beans on Samsung’s internal launch plans for their up and coming flagship device, the Galaxy S4.
Should this rumour be true, it could only mean that Samsung is most likely to skip the famous Mobile World Congress 2013 expo this month, and go with its solo event.
Samsung followers may also have to wait a little longer than mid of March to actually pocket the new Samsung Galaxy S4. The device is rumoured to house an Octa core processor with Mali-T658 GPU.
In addition, the report also claims that Samsung will first roll out the Galaxy S4 across Europe early April of this year and followed by Asia later in the month and will continue rolling out to the US, Africa, and Australia this May and June.
The successor to Samsung’s current flagship (the Galaxy S3) is said to land in Black or White and it is rumoured to house a 4.99” Super AMOLED Full HD display, 13MP main camera with 1080p video recording, 2GB worth of RAM, and 2MP front-facing camera. What is unknown is if this device will land with Jelly Bean as its OS or the up and coming Key Lime Pie OS by Google.
