Samsung Aiming For High Samsung Galaxy S4 And Tablet Sales Over The Coming Months
Samsung have set their sights very high indeed when it comes to the new Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone which is set to be officially unveiled on March 14th. Previous generations of this handset have gone on to become global best sellers and Samsung are expecting nothing less from the new handset.
It has been reported that Samsung are set to be very aggressive when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and also their tablet devices over the coming months. The Korean company are expecting to ship 40 million units of their new flagship smartphone according to one executive at the company. Thanks to the success of earlier models Samsung are now the largest phone manufacturer in the world and in 2012 the company sold record numbers of its popular Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 devices. This year they are hoping that the S4 will continue this pattern and they are also hoping that their tablet range of models will start to boom. Currently some excellent models are produced by Samsung but they simply do not enjoy the success that their smartphone counterparts seem to be enjoying.
According to CNET things are set to change in 2013 for Samsung as they attempt to double their volume of tablet sales across the globe. Over the next 12 months we can expect to see aggressive marketing campaigns and a strong selection of new models to support this. The first of these models has just been unveiled in the shape of the Galaxy Note 8 which has its sights set firmly on the iPad Mini. In addition to strong tablet sales Samsung will also be looking for the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone to replicate the success of its predecessors. The new model is set to arrive soon complete with an impressive set of features including a 4.99 inch 1080P display and a new Exynos 5 Octa core processing chip.
Over the past three years Samsung have enjoyed great success in the smartphone market thanks to their Galaxy handsets and they will be hoping that the new Samsung Galaxy S4 can continue this trend. They are also looking for a big boost in tablet sales to ensure that 2013 is the best year to date in terms of performance.
