Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2 Update Begins Seeding

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is currently the most popular smartphone in the world and owners of this device will be delighted that Samsung have now started to seed the latest Android update for this model which delivers a host of new features to the phone.

The Android 4.1.2 update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 is seeding now and is available to users of the handset as an over the air update. The first country to get their hands on this latest software is Poland and other countries are set to receive their update soon afterwards. A host of new features will be delivered by the update, many of which were introduced on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 which was launched recently. Some of the stand out new additions include the new Multi View feature which presents users with two windows on the same screen, each one performing a totally independent task from the other.

Another major change that has been introduced by the 4.1.2 Android update on the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the new Notifications panel which enables users to customise what alerts are displayed. A new Gallery app, Paper Artist app and Smart Rotation are also new elements of this impressive looking software. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is currently the most popular smartphone in the world and recently came top of the charts in the UK, ahead of the new iPhone 5. The handset has already sold over 30 million units and this number is continuing to rise at a rapid rate. Rumours have already started to surface about a Galaxy S4 model but this is unlikely to be launched before the second quarter of 2013.
