Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiled
After the long-wait! The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been unveiled. Finally!
Samsung is definitely re-thinking ways we interact with our mobile phones. The new Samsung Galaxy S range features new technology that will allow you to control it with waving and titling motions.
According to David Park (Samsung’s Marketing Manager): “We focused on fun, relationships, convenience and health with the Galaxy S4”.
The new Galaxy S4 comes in with a couple of Samsung Galaxy S3’s upgraded features.
Now, the phone’s software and gestures that we normally use to control our handsets may be the biggest feature of the Galaxy S4. But, there is also the phone’s refreshed hardware.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 looks like the Samsung Galaxy S4, but with a slightly thinner body and larger display screen (at 5 inch). The phone’s 5” Super AMOLED panel comes in with 1080p resolution. It comes in with a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and with built-in temperature and humidity sensors.
One of the best features of this device is its beefed up camera. From the S3’s 8MP comes in the new 13MP camera of the Galaxy S4. It also boasts crisper and better low-light shots.
Drew Blackard of Samsung says: “We have brought the interface from the Galaxy Camera to the phone,” and added “We have wanted to make it easier for people to know how the modes work with images.”
They also added new features in the likes of dual-shot and recording mode. This will allow you to combine photos and videos from the phone’s front and rear facing cameras in one shot or video.
The new Samsung Galaxy S4 will be out in all of major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon second quarter of this year. Samsung has not announced pricing for this device at the moment but said that it would be in line with what you would expect from a top of the line Samsung device.
