The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini And The Mega 6.3 Now Available In The UK
Over the past few weeks we have been hearing lots of exciting news regarding some new Samsung smartphones including several variants of the popular S4 device and some new phablet sized handsets. Two of these models, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 have now gone on sale on the UK.
SIM free versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 are being offered by one online retailer in the UK. Over the next few weeks we are expecting to see a number of new Samsung devices hit the shelves and these two new models are the first to arrive. The new Galaxy S4 Mini, as it name suggests, is a miniature version of the best selling Galaxy S4 and is retailing for a price of £389.99 and will be available in both black and white colour variants. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a very large screened phone designed to be a more affordable version of the popular Galaxy Note range. This handset will set consumers back £434.99 and offers the same choice of colours as the S4 Mini.
Not only is the new Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini a smaller version of the Galaxy S4 it also offers more modest specification to enable the device to market at a more wallet friendly price. A 4.3 inch 960 x 540 screen is fitted on the phone and this offers a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The model comes complete with Android 4.2.2 and is powered by a 1.7Ghz dual core processor. The new Galaxy Mega 6.3 boasts a massive 6.3 inch display that some consumers may feel makes it too large to be classified as a traditional phone. The large screen boasts 720P resolution and a dual core Snapdragon 400 processor chip keep performance ticking along at a fast pace. At the moment we have had no confirmed network availability so consumers eager to get their hands on one of these models will have to settle for the SIM free versions.
The new Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 are the first of a new generation of Samsung devices to hit the shelves. The S4 Mini is set to become a big hit with mid range consumers while the Mega 6.3 offers an affordable route into the traditionally expensive Phablet market.
