Two more Samsung Galaxy devices landing in the UK
Recently, two new Galaxy members have been announced in South Korea, I am talking about the Samsung Galaxy Frame and Samsung Galaxy Young. Both of the devices will be heading to the UK very soon.
It was initially rumoured that the Samsung Galaxy Frame would be launched during the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, but the Korean tech giant couldn’t wait that long.
When it comes to design, both of the new Galaxy members looks like Samsung’s current flagship, the Galaxy S3 (well, as do all of the new Galaxy devices). This is probably one of Samsung’s attempts to shy away from potential court battles with its main rival, Apple.
The Samsung Galaxy Frame is said to sport better features than the Galaxy Young. It comes in with a 3.5” display with 480 x 320p for its resolution. There is also the phone’s 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. This is then coupled with 4GB worth of on-board memory and 5MP main camera. NFC and Bluetooth version 4.0 features are also included plus Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
Moving on to the Samsung Galaxy Young, this is packed with a smaller display screen at 3.27” only. However, it has the same 1GHz processor and Android OS as the Frame. But surprisingly, this device is packed with more RAM (768MB). Unlike the Galaxy Frame, this device doesn’t have the NFC feature and in addition, you will also get a 3MP main camera on this device. Yes, Bluetooth version 3.0 is available on this device (again, not the same as the Galaxy Frame).
Samsung said that the Galaxy Frame and the Galaxy Young’s “availability for the UK will be week commencing March 25”. Both of the new Galaxy members will be likely seen during the Mobile World Congress 2013 at the end of this month. Sadly, there is no pricing given to both of the handsets yet.
